Fáilte chuig Scoil Mhuire, Maigh Locha/ Welcome to Scoil Mhuire, Moylagh

Welcome to our website, which will offer a glimpse into our busy school life here at Mhuire, Moylagh!

Scoil Mhuire is a small rural school with 93 students.

We are located close to the village of Dromone, near Oldcastle, County Meath. We have four Mainstream Class Teachers and one Special Education Teacher.

Here at Scoil Mhuire, everyone is a valued member of a happy and vibrant learning community. We aim to provide our pupils with a wide variety of curricular and extracurricular activities. We are committed to fostering the holistic development of each child and encouraging our pupils to be actively engaged and always work towards reaching their full potential. We encourage our pupils to grow in the Catholic faith, promote mutual respect for those of other beliefs, and establish the foundations of lifelong learning.

Scoil Mhuire has a very supportive parent body, and our school prides itself on the team element of pupils, parents and staff working together. This allows for a well-structured, caring and positive learning environment with plenty of fun and adventure along the way!

It is our aim that all children will leave Scoil Mhuire with an enthusiasm for learning, a thirst for knowledge, an appreciation of and respect for the world they live in, a capacity to develop critical thinking, an awareness of their rights and responsibilities, and, of course, many happy memories.

Thank you for taking the time to look at our website. We hope you enjoy it and gain insight into life here at Scoil Mhuire, both inside and outside the classroom.
