Lets Bounce!!
June 25- The Airport
To complete our topic, ‘The Airport,’ the children created their passports. After playtime, with their luggage (their school bags), they checked in for their flight, went through security, and were guided to their seats by the flight attendants. While flying, they ate treats from the trolley and watched some on-flight entertainment before landing in Portugal!
May 25- World Bee Day
To celebrate World Bee Day, Junior & Senior Infants learnt about bees. They wrote this new information that they learnt onto bee templates.

Emergency Services
To complete our topic, Emergency Services, we received a visit from the Oldcastle Fire Brigade. The children shared with the visiting firemen all they knew about fire safety. They got to try out the fire hoses.
April Showers Bring May Flowers!
The children using green, yellow, orange and white only created various shades to paint sunflowers, after the children had planted sunflower seeds.

21.03.25- We ended our week with our Sweet Treat Teddy Bear Picnic reward. Due to the weather we had our picnic in class. We pushed back the table and chairs, laid out blankets on the floor and enjoyed our treats while watching some cartoons just before home time.

World Book Day!
5th and 6th visited Junior and Senior Infants and read the storybooks they brought in for World Book Day

The children painted shamrocks using only green and white paint, creating various shades of green.

The children created their own puppets, created a story themselves and put on a puppet show before hometime.
