First Class did a best bounce investigation. They predicted which ball would bounce the highest; cold, room temperature or warm ball. They then carried out their experiment using slow-mo videos to get accurate measurements of how high each ball bounced. The results showed that the warm tennis ball bounced the highest reaching 53cm,as hot air expands and increases elasticity. Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First class all learned about some of the beautiful flowers in our school garden. They then chose their favourite flower and made a class pictogram to record the data collected. It turned out the most popular flower was bluebells.
